Lords of Acid is a Belgian-American electronic music project founded by musician Praga Khan in 1988. The group is best known for their energetic blend of industrial, techno, and acid house, with provocative lyrics and bold themes. Their music often explores topics like sexuality, rebellion, and hedonism, which has made them a staple in the rave and electronic music scenes. Lords of Acid’s breakthrough came with their 1991 debut album *Lust*, which featured the popular track “I Sit on Acid.” Known for their over-the-top stage performances, the band gained a loyal following, influencing the development of industrial and electronic music in the 1990s.
