Anthony Green (born April 15, 1982) is an American singer and musician from Doylestown, Pennsylvania. He is currently the lead singer of Circa Survive and Saosin, while also maintaining a solo career. He was previously in the bands The Sound of Animals Fighting, Audience of One, Jeer at Rome, High and Driving, and Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer. Green is known for his Leggiero tenor vocal range. Anthony Green's first band formed in 1997 while he was in high school with classmate and musician Tommy Dougherty (Junction 232).
If it weren’t for the fact that both Miri and Mattie were each the tokenized female (and queer) members of their respective bands, Queen of Jeans may have never existed. Their mutual frustration became the glue that bonded them together, and gave them a chance to finally create the kind of music they wanted to make, inspired by both their experiences plus a wide range of artists like St. Vincent, Camera Obscura, and Fiona Apple. And after months of “casually online-dating drummers,” they found their unicorn in Patrick Wall, who brings a unique pop rhythm to their stylistically-varied sound.
